Football Kenya Federation unveils another video game company as partner Harambee Stars: The standard Sports
The Kenya Football Federation on Saturday unveiled betting company Mozzart Bet as the official partner of the Harambee Stars in the ongoing qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The partnership will cover the remainder of the World Cup qualifying campaign and began with the Stars away game in Agadir, Morocco, against Mali.
As part of the deal, FKF will receive Sh3 Million from the leading online gaming company to prepare the team for the remaining qualifiers against Mali, Rwanda and Uganda.
FKF President Nick Mwendwa thanked Mozzart Bet for their support.
“Thank you for believing in Kenyan football and the Harambee Stars. We were able to send the team to Morocco comfortably and we thank you for that.
“We did not get the result we wanted in Agadir but I believe in this team, I know its potential and I am sure better results are on the way.”
“We have a chance to make a statement in the remaining games, and I have no doubts that we can achieve a positive result in the end if we give it our all as a team,” said Mwendwa.
Kenya will face Mali on Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium starting at 4 p.m., followed by Uganda and Rwanda in the final qualifying round in November.
