Earlier this year, Riot Games revealed that it would be introducing an in-game tournament mode to the shooter to allow players to experience competitive gaming in a serious environment.

Currently, we may only be days away from the official release of Valorant’s highly anticipated tournament mode.

According to a recent Tweeter by popular Valorant leaker “ValorLeaks”, Riot Games is already preparing the launch of Valorant’s in-game tournament mode and it will be released “very soon”.

Let’s take a look at everything we know so far about Valorant’s upcoming tournament mode.

Valorous tournament mode

While details of Tournament Mode have not been revealed by Riot Games at the time of writing, we can get a general idea of how it works from the leaks that have surfaced on the internet.

According to leaks, players will be able to participate in leagues to earn points for various in-game rewards. They will be placed into one of several numbered divisions (divisions 1, 2, 3, etc.) based on their ranks.

However, not everyone will be able to play the tournament mode as there will be a minimum level required to participate. On top of that, there may also be a smurf detection system in place to prevent higher ranked players from playing in low level lobbies.

Valorant in-game tournament mode release date

The exact release date for the in-game tournament mode is still uncertain, but players can expect it to drop either with Episode 5, Act 3 or by the end of 2022.
