Lenovo’s new OP gaming phone may have just had its second round of leaks
Prominent Leaksmith Evan Blass just revealed the specs for the new Lenovo Legion Phone 3 Elite and Pro gaming phones, and if those dreams come true, some serious power is headed our way. The latest leak comes after earlier reports of the ‘Lenovo Legion Y90’ revealed that the flagship would feature 18GB of RAM and a 144Hz AMOLED display. Since the specs of this recent Legion Phone 3 leak seem to match at first, it could be the same devices named for different regions.
Today’s leak puts the Lenovo Legion Phone 3 Elite and Pro models well above even today’s best gaming phones. That 18GB RAM rumor has surfaced again, and the 640GB of storage that was leaked earlier last week looks like a 512GB + 128GB SSD split drive. These are all important specs that all line up with previous ratings, pointing to an even greater chance that Lenovo has something very powerful up its sleeve.
Blass’ latest leak also corroborated previous reports that the new gaming phones will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, but adds details around a 68W fast-charging battery and two USB-C ports. . New renders of the phone also reveal possible shoulder keys, rear capacitive touchpads, RGB backlighting, and a pressure-sensitive display.
Lenovo first announced its next gaming phone earlier this month, providing snapshots of a device that lines up perfectly with this latest render leak. We still don’t have any information regarding a release window or potential price, but we don’t expect these devices to be particularly budget-friendly.
